About MeHi, my name is Dionne Korita. This is my 30th year teaching EL students at Westbrook School! It is the best job because I get to help children grow and develop their English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I also get to learn from them about their diverse backgrounds. I hope that the children are proud to share their language and culture with the class. I know how hard and also how rewarding it is to learn a 2nd language because I learned to speak Spanish in high school and college. During college I spent a semester studying Spanish in Barcelona, Spain. I have traveled to 35 different countries and I love learning about the different cultures. I grew up in Glenview and I now live in Chicago.
